We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery in advance or on the day you wish to be seen.

If you wish to be seen on the day you are phoning please phone as early as possible on 01273 685588 as close to 08:00 as possible. Alternatively, if you wish to book in advance, it is best to phone later when our phone lines are not so busy.

We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may sk you to see another doctor. Some of our doctors work only part time here at the surgery, therefore it may be difficult to see them on the day you wish to be seen. We would kindly ask for your consideration in this matter.

We are offering online appointment booking to our patients. The appointments that will be offered are for advance booking with the GPs only; please call into the Practice for further information. You will need to bring some ID to register for this service. If you have already registered for this service, please click on the link at the top of this page.

Surgery Consultation Times

Consultation slots are 10 minutes. If you have more than one problem to address, please ask for a 20 minute appointment when you book with our Reception team.

We will try to keep appointment times as much as possible, but inevitably some patients require more time than others. If you are kept waiting, please be patient .On the next occasion it may be you who requires more of the Drs' time.

We offer extra appointments as part of our extended access. These appointments are early mornings on Thursday and Friday, 07:20 until 08:00.

We also have extra appointments on Monday evenings 18:30 until 20:00.

A full list of each GP's working hours can be found here.

In order to keep the surgery running smoothly as possible, please remember the following:

  • Please be punctual for your appointment.
  • Please let us know if you cannot keep your appointment.
  • Please do not expect the doctor to "squeeze in" other members of your family at the same time as this results in less attention being given to each person.

Digital Photographs

Your GP may ask you to send a photograph to help diagnose your condition when they hold a telephone consultation with you. Please note any digital image submitted as part of a consultation will be stored within your medical record.

Video Consultations available

Consultations with a GP or Practice Nurse can now be held by video. This service is available to users of Patient Online Access Services. Current users can telephone us and request a video consultation. You can log in to your Online Access Service app or website at the appointment's time and join the video clinic by following the onscreen instructions. Patients who are not yet Online Access Service users can obtain access by telephoning us and speaking to the Reception team.

Telephone Consultations

The Practice offers patients telephone consultations if you have a problem that doesn't necessarily have to be seen by a GP face to face at the Practice. Telephone consultations can also be useful for patients who find it difficult to get to the Practice. The receptionists will offer this option to you when you phone for an appointment.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
