Patients on long-term medication can order a repeat prescription in the following ways:
- In person - tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and hand it in to reception
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
- Online with Patient Access via the link at the top of this page (please ask reception for details on how to sign up for this service)
- Via a chemist - some local chemists have a collection and delivery service available.
Prescription requests must be submitted in writing to the Practice. Alternatively you can contact your Pharmacist to make the request on your behalf.
Please note that we will only fax prescriptions to pharmacies if the need is clinically urgent.
Prescriptions for the Contraceptive Pill
The combined contraceptive pill can only be issued by Pavilion Surgery via a consultation with one of our nursing team. This is because the pill is not suitable for all women and we need to ascertain every 6 months that it is still the safest and most appropriate form of contraception for you and to allow us to monitor your blood pressure as occasionally this rises whilst taking the pill.
We also offer Electronic Prescribing - please ask at reception for details or your local pharmacist.

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
